How to Schedule Your Cake Tasting

Sweet & Savory Shanty is currently accepting contracts for 2024 weddings and encourages early planning to ensure availability.

• To schedule a tasting, customers can fill out a wedding inquiry form to set up a date and time for pick up. The Cake Tasting Bridal Bundle includes a variety of cake flavors and dessert menu items for consideration, along with wedding package information and pricing.
• For customers who have tried our cake before and want to skip the tasting, they can book directly by placing a non-refundable deposit of $100 and scheduling a consultation to go over all the details.
• Sweet & Savory Shanty also offers an Zoom option for customers who are planning their wedding, but live out of town.
• A $25 fee is charged for the Cake Tasting Bridal Bundle. We can mail our Tasting bundles upon request. Additional shipping fees apply.

Our Wedding Packages

Sweet & Savory Shanty's Bakery offers 5 basic choices of wedding cake sizes.

They are: 1 Tier "Intimate" - 2 Tier "Classic" - 3 Tier "Traditional" - 4 Tier "Grand" - 5 Tier "Impressive"

• Each of these sizes provides a certain amount of cake servings.
  
• Whatever servings are not met through the tiered cake will be made up with "Kitchen Cakes" (similar to a 1/2 sheet cakes).
  
• Kitchen Cakes: These are iced but non-decorated cakes that are usually kept in the kitchen and cut, then brought out on plates to either the cake table, or to be served by the wait staff.
  
• They are the same quality as the tiered cake and look identical to your decorated cake on a plate. (So your guests won't know the difference!) Our kitchen cakes are also the same height as your wedding cake, unlike traditional sheet cakes you might buy from a box store.
  
• Kitchen cakes are $90 each and provide 50 servings (only $1.80 per slice). For example, let's say you have 225 guests and you want the 3 Tier "Traditional" cake package. The tiered cake only provides 75 servings. To get up to 225, you will need 3 kitchen cakes (150 servings).
  
• Our wedding cake packages are shown in the charts below with example servings sizes and prices.

Neapolitan - White, Chocolate & Strawberry Cake, layers of chocolate ganache, white chocolate ganache and strawberry preserves, iced in buttercream

Free 6 inch Cake For Your First Anniversary!

We love being able to be a part of your special day and we appreciate you! All you have to do in order to receive your free 6” cake for your one year anniversary is book your wedding cake with us! Then two weeks or so before your first wedding anniversary, give us a call at (567) 825-1519 to place the order for your 6” cake. While ordering, please specify what flavor you would like and be sure to mention that you are redeeming your free one year anniversary cake. Once we verify your wedding date with our records, you are all set to pick-up your free 6” cake for you and your sweetheart to enjoy on your very first wedding anniversary!
